Hello! I’m just starting out with trying to get fit, as i’ve always been very unfit. I’m a minor, if this is important to know. I’m trying to accomplish two things with my training and working out, and i’m trying to do them relatively quickly (nothing insane, i try to hold realistic expectations)
I plan on using some of the routine provided on the site and also doing some cardio stuff, and figuring diet stuff out on my own but any tips you want to give are also appreciated :-)
I want to be a motorcycle racer, and this requires a lot of strength and stamina in the core and legs since you’re racing for a while (an hour or more depending on the series and whatnot) and those muscles are used for almost the entirety of the race.
I’d love some tips / assistance in developing a routine for stamina in the legs and core, and any other tips for a beginner if you’d like to share, although it’s not necessary. thank u so much :-)!! also idk if this is too long or not within the scope of the forum but im sending it anyways

This is Chrys, one of the trainers at Hybrid. I’d start with easy versions of the Hybrid movements, two or three short full-body sessions a week, with a day between them. One or two controlled sets of each is plenty to get started. Squats and leg raises cover some of the legs and core work you’re after, but keep the upper-body work too.
For stamina, add short walks or easy cycling and gradually build up the time. You should still be able to talk at that pace. Have a coach familiar with youth training check your technique, then work on the racing-specific side as your fitness improves. And since you’re still growing, eat regular meals and enough to fuel both training and growth.
