First, thank you for building this site, I love it! Second, I am curious what might be the right split of combining some low volume running (1 jog day of 3-5 miles, 1 hill sprint day, and an option Ruck of 3-4 miles) with your Hybrid calisthenics routine? I am roughly between steps 6-8 on most movement patterns, but would like to start adding in some running. Thanks!

Hey. This is Chrys, one of the trainers at Hybrid.
Glad you’re enjoying it! And yeah, you can definitely combine running with the Hybrid routine.
Since you’re already around levels 6–8, I’d probably keep the calisthenics as your foundation and add the running around it. One easy setup would be a jog one day, hill sprints another day, and a ruck if you’re feeling good that week.
Just keep an eye on recovery, especially with the hill sprints. Those can be pretty demanding on your legs, so don’t be afraid to back off a bit if you notice your strength workouts starting to suffer.
Honestly, it doesn’t have to be more complicated than that. As long as you’re recovering well and making progress, you’re probably in a good spot.

Perfect this is great advice, thanks Chrys!
