Equipment for pull up variations#1774

How do I do the horizontal pull up variation without those ropes that are in the example video? I have a pull up bar at home but I can really set that up in a way to do horizontal pull ups.

Hey, Chrys here. One of the trainers at Hybrid.

If you’ve got a pull-up bar but can’t set it low, just switch the angle instead of forcing “horizontal.” Use a chair or bench under the bar. Put your feet on it and do angled rows, body leaning back, pulling your chest to the bar. You control difficulty by how far your feet are and how straight your body is. If that setup’s weird, hit table rows or even band rows. Same idea, just pulling your body or resistance toward you.
