Can I do all the push up variations (full push ups to advance one arm push ups) on my knuckles?

Hey, Chrys here. One of the trainers at Hybrid.
You can do a lot of push up variations on your knuckles, but not all of them are automatically better that way. Knuckle pushups mainly help if wrist extension bothers you. They keep the wrist neutral, but they also put more pressure through the knuckles and require good fist alignment.

Regular, incline, decline, pseudo planche and even some one arm progressions are usually fine on knuckles as long as your fist stays straight and you’re not collapsing inward. Where it gets sketchy is the really high leverage stuff like advanced one arm pushups. The load becomes very concentrated and small positioning errors start stressing the knuckles instead of the chest and shoulders. Keep that in mind
