How do progressions progress?#1701

I’m not sure how this app works. I just what was there for the workouts when I installed it, progression 1, wall push ups and leg raises. Will these get harder as I go? Will the progressions change on their own? Also 2:30min rests? It seems like too long.

Hey. This is Chrys, one of the trainers at Hybrid.

Yep, it’ll get harder as you go. The app starts you on the easiest progressions on purpose, then unlocks harder ones as you hit the requirements. You don’t need to manually change anything, just keep training and progressing and the app updates the exercises for you.

And yeah, 2 to 3 minutes of rest is normal. That time lets your strength come back so each set is actually productive. If you rush it, your reps drop and progress slows. If you feel ready sooner, you can go a bit earlier, but longer rest isn’t a mistake.
