Kinda dumb question about dumbbell bent over rows#1516

?

Hi, since I can’t do any pullup variations without risking my house falling apart and my family getting pissed about it, i’ve decided since i have a dumbbell laying around to instead do single bent over row (one knee bent, with my hand resting on it, while the other leg is straight), and to get to the point: Since i dont really have that much weight for my dumbbell bar, i was wondering like what kinda of guideline should i follow with db bent over rows? Like i started doing them like this and:
3 sets of 20x (7.5kg), and you know i thought to do it for my form’s sake, but what do you think, should i bump the weight up? Cause honestly it does feel very light, but like i said i wanna get the hang of engaging my lats so yeah…Should I increase and for how many reps should i roughly do them? I think the max i can set on my dumbbell is around 15kg so idk…

And yes, should i even do them to failure or how does it go? I mean i feel “discomfort” in my lats definitly and none in lower back thank God. Like I just wanna make sure i’m doing them right, i know i’m probably overthinking a bit

Good evening! Good question. Once 3 sets of 10 no longer feels challenging on those rows, if you have more weighta, increase them by 5lbs. If you dont, increase the reps by 2 per set
