My legs are Bad, jackknife is too hard. Like, leagues beyond what I am capable of doing.
No worries! Keep the previous progression and add an additional set and focus on slowing down tempo to really get that time under tension needes to develop your quadriceps, hamstrings and glutes!
(oops typo in the subject line, should be ‘supine’)
Slowing down? I literally cannot get my ankles to bend enough to do any kind of squat with my heels on the ground. There is no tempo. It’s a hard stop before I even begin.
Even the previous squat? Just the bodyweight? Try wall sits. Theres no movement and you just want to hold them for time
Weight is not the problem, I have calves the size of footballs. The problem is that my maximum ankle dorsiflexion is a rigid 90 degree angle. I cannot squat because my legs do not bend that way without lifting my heels to compensate for the ankles.
