Straight leg twists#1488

Hi trainers,

While twisting with a bent leg is not a problem for me. But when I retract from that position, slight tinglong burning feel happens in my back, maybe the spine. Is that normal or am I stretching too much or is due to the diet.

I’ve started working out since 2nd of Jan and it was my 3rd day of excersize. Also, I’ve been making posture correction in my daily life by keeping my head straight and trying to be more upright. My abs and cores are anyways week. I’ve excercised very little throughout my life. I’m 25 years old, male.

Hey! So im thinking that tingling or burning sensation in your back during twists might be your body adjusting to the new movements, especially if you’re not used to exercising or if your posture has been off for a while. Since you’re just starting out and also working on posture correction, your spine and surrounding muscles might be under some unfamiliar strain.

You could be stretching a little too far or engaging muscles that are weak or tight. Try easing into the twists—don’t push your range of motion to the limit right now. Focus on controlled, smaller movements and see if the sensation reduces. Make sure you’re bracing your core lightly during the exercise to support your spine.

It’s unlikely to be diet-related unless you’re experiencing more general nerve issues or inflammation. Honestly though you are just starting so youll be fine😁
