Stretching on the same day as working out#1481

Ive seen people say dont stretch on the same day as working out or do the stretching after the workout, however stretching works really well as part of my morning routine and so i do it every morning. Since i started this routine ive been also doing the workout in the morning, workout first then stretching. Once school starts in a few days i wont have time for both anymore. Would it be okay to stretch in the morning and workout in late afternoon/evening or would that keep me from progressing?

I really dont want to stop stretching in the morning i enjoy it and lets me have a better start of the day.

Yes thats fine. Just remember not to stretch a cold muscle. Always warmup first. As for stretching then steength training, always stretch AFTER the strength training session, never before
