Leg raises while having Anterior Pelvic Tilt#1191

I think i have an Anterior Pelvic Tilt considering even when knees up my lower back wouldn’t touch the ground. Should I still do the leg raises and its variation (Im currently still unable to go beyond adv knee raises) or is there another movement I can do that works the same muscle while keeping the Anterior Pelvic Tilt in mind?

I used to have APT. Back then it was because my glutes were weak in addition to lower back weakness and weak quadriceps. Id recommend putting your hands underneath the small of your back for now while doing leg raises. It worked for me until my strength developed

thanks for the suggestion. I do have really weak glutes, I can barely contract it while standing without it feeling tired a few dozens of seconds later. I think I also have weak abs as well, which leads me to another question. I noticed so many movements require you to have strong control of these muscles for balance (like push-ups, pull-ups, squats even) and since my control of these muscles is weak, I think it puts much more strain on my lower back which I know not what I want from these exercises. Is there a way to combat this as well on these movements like with the leg raises or should I just do the easier variations and take things slow while I build up my weaker muscles?

Good question. The answer is to keep up the progressions of all the exercises. You work your core in all of them while indirectly however bc of that, they will grow stronger each session
