Alternative for Squats#1087

Would it be possible to add an option to replace a movement with another in the routine? I have double knee injury and can’t do the squat movements, but I don’t want my routine counted as incomplete.
Also, are there alternatives for the squats to develop stronger leg muscles to help ease the pain off of the joint? Thanks!

Hey there :) Sorry to hear about your knee

I believe replacing routine exercises in the app isn’t on the plan as of rn, but you can simply track the exercise as 0 or 1 to show that you’ve done it (so that it isn’t incomplete)

Some alternatives could be:

Step-downs / step-ups

Essentially it boils down to limiting the load, range of motion, or working with isometric holds - it might be a good call to add some more isolated work for other areas such as the hamstrings via things like assisted heel slides, or the calves via calf raises, or also the tibialis anterior via toe raises - it’s hard to say what the best call of action is since I’m no physical therapist and don’t know your exact situation -> I do recommend physical therapy to best guide you and help you out there if it’s available to you
